The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced a preliminary notification for various Level 1 (Group D) positions across different zones. This recruitment is registered under advertisement number CEN 09/2025.

Eligibility Requirements
1. Age Limit (as of January 1, 2026)
The standard age requirement is between 18 and 33 years. Relaxations are available for the following categories:
- SC / ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwD (General): 10 years
- PwD (OBC): 13 years
- PwD (SC / ST): 15 years
2. Education
Candidates must meet at least one of these qualifications:
- 10th Standard (Matriculation) pass
- ITI certificate
- National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from NCVT

RRB Group D Exam Syllabus 2026
1. Mathematics (25 Questions)
This section tests numerical ability and mathematical concepts typically taught up to the 10th-grade level:
- Arithmetic: Number System, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, and HCF.
- Commercial Math: Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Profit and Loss, Simple and Compound Interest.
- Mensuration & Time: Time and Work, Time and Distance, Pipes and Cistern.
- Advanced Math: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Elementary Statistics.
- Calculation & Logic: Square root, Age Calculations, Calendar, and Clock.
2. General Intelligence and Reasoning (30 Questions)
This is the most weighted section, focusing on logical thinking and analytical skills:
- Logic: Analogies, Syllogism, Venn Diagram, and Analytical Reasoning.
- Sequencing: Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding.
- Operations: Mathematical operations, Jumbling, Data Interpretation, and Sufficiency.
